Terms of use
The short version: Adonae's core is free, some extras are part of a paid plan called Adonae Pro, the app is provided as-is, your data is yours, and it isn't medical advice. The slightly longer version follows.
The service
Adonae is a fitness and nutrition app for Android and the web, plus this website. A free account is required to use the app. The core of the app — logging food and workouts, barcode scanning and progress tracking — is free. Some features are part of Adonae Pro, a paid plan (see below); every new account gets its first week of Pro free. The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind — it's built and maintained by one independent developer, and while it's cared for, no guarantee is made that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or preserved in perpetuity. You must be at least 16 to use Adonae.
Adonae Pro
Adonae Pro is an optional paid plan that unlocks extra features — currently photo meal estimates, meal inspiration, watch and tracker connections, and deeper progress insights. What's included may evolve over time.
- Free week. Every new account gets its first 7 days of Pro free, automatically — no card needed.
- Billing. Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe on the web, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice; a change never affects a period you've already paid for.
- Cancelling. You can cancel any time from the app's Adonae Pro page. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for; no partial refunds, except where required by law.
- Free Pro time. Promo codes and referral rewards grant free Pro time at our discretion. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged or resold, and codes obtained or used abusively (including self-referral) may be revoked.
- Google Play. Pro can't be purchased inside the Android app. Pro on your account works everywhere you sign in.
Not medical advice
Calorie targets, protein targets, training suggestions and every other number in Adonae are informational estimates, computed from standard formulas. They are not medical, dietary or professional advice. Consult a qualified professional before making significant changes to your diet or training, especially if you have a medical condition. You use the app's suggestions at your own judgement and risk.
Your data, your responsibility
Your logs back up automatically to your account and sync across your devices (see the privacy policy). There is no one-tap export yet; email hello@kaspasejo.com if you want a copy of your data. Even so, keep your own record of anything you can't afford to lose; this is a small independent project and zero data loss can't be guaranteed.
Accounts
Using Adonae means signing in with a free account, so keep your email access secure — sign-in codes sent to your email grant access to your account, and you're responsible for activity under it. You can delete your account, your cloud backup, or both from Settings at any time. Accounts that abuse the service may be suspended.
Tips
Tips are entirely voluntary donations that support development. They are processed by Stripe, don't unlock features, aren't purchases of goods or services, and are non-refundable except where required by law. If something went wrong with a payment, email us and we'll sort it out.
Public profiles and usernames
Publishing a public profile page at adonae.com/username is optional. By publishing, you agree to a few common-sense rules:
- Don't choose a username that impersonates another person or brand, or that is offensive or misleading.
- Usernames are first-come, first-served, and unpublishing releases the name for others to claim.
- Profiles or usernames that abuse the service may be removed without notice.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the app evolves; the current version always lives at this page. Continuing to use Adonae after a change means you accept the updated terms.
