Privacy policy
Adonae shows no ads and runs no tracker that identifies you. Your data is private to you: it's stored on your device and backed up to your own account so you can pick up on any device — and we never sell or share it. Here is the complete picture. Last updated 11 September 2026.
Your data and cloud backup
Workouts, meals, weight, body fat, muscle mass, progress photos, the daily numbers read from your devices, and settings are stored on your device and backed up to your account, so they restore automatically on any device you sign in on. Your backup is private to you — it's isolated so only your signed-in account can read it, and we never sell or share it. There is no one-tap export yet; if you want a copy of your data, email hello@kaspasejo.com from the address on your account and we will put one together for you. Settings → "Reset everything" clears the copy on the current device; deleting your account (below) permanently removes your cloud backup too.
Your account
Adonae signs you in with a free account — an email code, or signing in with Google — so your data is saved to you and syncs across your devices. We store: your email address (to sign you in, and to send a short welcome series from the developer that you can opt out of in one click), basic sign-in metadata (when the account was created and last used), and a copy of your app data for backup and sync. Accounts and backups are hosted with Supabase, encrypted in transit and at rest, and isolated so only your own account can access your data. You can delete your entire account, and everything in it, from Settings at any time — see how to delete your account and data; deletion is permanent and processed within 30 days.
The mailing list
The website has an optional sign-up form for people who aren't installing the app yet. It is separate from your account, and you are only added by ticking the box next to the sentence describing what you are agreeing to — nothing is pre-ticked, and using the site any other way never adds you.
If you do sign up we store your email address, the date you signed up, and the exact wording you agreed to, so that what you consented to is always answerable. We don't record your name, your IP address, or anything about what you looked at. The list is used for occasional updates about Adonae — no more than monthly — and the addresses on it are never sold, rented or shared.
Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link that needs no login and no confirmation step. When you use it we keep a record that you asked to be removed, so you are not added again by mistake; ask us at hello@adonae.com and we will delete that too.
Sign in with Google
If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us — nothing else. We use these only to create and identify your account. We never access your Google contacts, files or calendar, and we never post anything on your behalf.
Public profiles (on by default, easily turned off)
Adonae gives everyone a public page at adonae.com/username, and it is on by default. It publishes: your chosen username, your profile picture if you set one, a small stats snapshot (workouts in the last 30 days, strength trend over 90 days, top trained muscle groups, the month you started, current streaks and personal bests), and your recent workouts with a session summary — which exercises and how many sets, or a run's distance, duration and pace. Never your weight, body measurements, meals, or raw set-by-set logs, heart rate or GPS routes. You can turn it off with one tap in More → Profile at any time, which immediately deletes the page and the stored snapshot; you can also change your username freely.
Health data from your devices
Health Connect is Android’s shared store for health data. What is in it comes from your own devices: your phone’s step counter, and any watch, ring, band or smart scale you use. With your permission, the Android app reads (never writes) ten things from it: your steps, the calories you burned moving, your full daily burn, sleep, heart rate, resting heart rate, weight, distance, the workouts your devices recorded, and records from before the day you connect (so your first 90 days are not empty). Each one is used to show you your own numbers and to work out your daily targets. Those numbers become part of your app data, so they are included in your private account backup like everything else, but they are never used for advertising and never sold or shared, and revoking the permission stops all reads immediately. The app lists all ten, with what each is for, under More → Connections → Health Connect.
Photo meal logging
If you log a meal by photo, the image is sent to an AI vision service to estimate calories and macros, then the estimate is returned to your device. The photo itself is stored only in your local meal log, and is not used to train models. This happens only for photos you deliberately submit. Barcode lookups query the public OpenFoodFacts database with the barcode number only.
Tips and payments
If you choose to leave a tip, payment happens entirely on Stripe's own secure checkout pages — we never see or store your card details.
This website
adonae.com serves static pages from Cloudflare's network, which produces standard, short-lived server logs (as virtually all websites do). The download counter is a single anonymous number — no IPs, cookies or identities are stored with it. There are no advertising scripts on this site. The website uses Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people arrive on. It sets no cookies, does not follow you from site to site, and cannot tell one visitor from another or connect a visit to your account. It runs on the website only, never inside the app.
What Adonae never does
- No ads, and no ad networks embedded in the app or site.
- No selling, sharing or brokering of data — ever.
- Your data is yours: ask us for a copy of it, or delete your whole account, at any time, and unwanted emails stop with one click.
Children
Adonae is not intended for children. You must be at least 16 to use the app and to create an account.
Changes and contact
If the app gains features that touch data, this policy is updated first — the current version always lives at this page. Questions, concerns or a data request? Email hello@kaspasejo.com — you'll get a reply from the person who built the app.
